Project Spotlight: Roof Replacement for Commercial Food Storage Facility

📍1420 ellis st. waukesha wi, 53186
This project involved a recently purchased commercial building where the new owner planned to store food products. Given the condition of the existing roof and the importance of maintaining a leak-free environment, the client brought in New Roofs Inc for an inspection during the purchasing process. We provided a detailed assessment and proposal to ensure the new owner could move forward with confidence.
To bring the failing metal roof up to modern standards, we began by installing flute-fill insulation between the metal panels to improve thermal performance. Over this, we applied a fiberboard hard deck, mechanically fastened with metal plates and screws. This created a stable, flat surface ideal for membrane application.
We then installed a mechanically fastened TPO roofing system, heat-welding the seams for maximum waterproofing. New drip edge metal was also installed around the perimeter for a clean, finished look.
All products used were supplied by Mule-Hide, and the system was fully inspected and certified by a Mule-Hide representative. The project was approved and issued a 20-year labor and material warranty—ensuring long-term performance and peace of mind for the client.
This project reflects New Roofs Inc’s commitment to quality and reliability for commercial clients with sensitive storage requirements.
