Project Spotlight: Full Exterior Remodel – 141 Main Street | $2.2M Project

📍141 main st. Racine, WI 53403
New Roofs Inc was proud to lead the complete exterior renovation of a large commercial property located at 141 Main Street, Racine, WI. This extensive project, valued at $2.2 million, began in September 2024 and completed in fall of 2025.
The scope of work included removing all existing siding, which had significantly deteriorated despite being only 15 years old. In its place, we installed new James Hardie fiber cement siding, known for its durability, weather resistance, and long-term curb appeal.
On the roof, we removed the failing system and installed an 80 mil fully adhered Mule-Hide TPO membrane, providing the client with a 30-year manufacturer warranty; an upgrade from the industry-standard 20-year warranty, made possible by the premium 80 mil product selection.
One of the most challenging aspects of this project was a central courtyard that could not accommodate heavy equipment. To overcome this, we built extensive scaffolding around the inner perimeter of the building. All demolition materials were hand-carried through the building to dumpsters, and new siding materials were brought in and installed the same way; demonstrating our team’s adaptability and commitment to delivering results no matter the obstacle.
Throughout the project, we used multiple lifts, cranes, and specialized equipment to ensure safe and efficient execution. Final manufacturer inspections are underway, with warranty certifications pending approval.
The 141 Main Street remodel is a standout example of New Roofs Inc’s ability to handle complex, large-scale exterior renovations from start to finish.
